Salmon Arm soccer players take second in Arizona tournament
European Football School team nearly sweeps invitational competition

A group of Salmon Arm’s youth soccer elite were invited by the European Football School (EFS) to compete at the Northern Arizona Invitational tournament in Flagstaff, AZ from May 19-21.

Julia Hart and Phoebe Barnes joined the EFS U15 team in Flagstaff, while Hannah Tarzwell, Avery Hanson, Lina Fankhause, Angalena Cross and Megan Hart played for the U17 team in the tournament.

EFS U15 and U16/17 Girls have finish 2nd in Northern Arizona Invitational tournament.

Both teams went undefeated in reaching the finals, the U15 girls winning two game and drawing one and the U17/18 girls winning all three games. Unfortunately, both teams came up short in the finals, both placing 2nd.

Both teams showed great wellness and play throughout the tournament, well done girls!

EFS U15 and U16/17 Girls teams heading Arizona to play in the Northern Arizona Invitational tournament in Flagstaff and the teams will also play exhibition games in Phoenix after the tournament.

This is the 24th international trip organized by EFS since its founding in 1999. Our squad of 28 players is made up of players from West and North Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Squamish, Mount Currie, Salmon Arm and Kamloops.

EFS U13 & U14 Boy teams are headed for Los Angeles, California

EFS U13 & U14 Boy teams are headed for Los Angeles, California to play 7 games against teams from the Las Angeles and Laguna Beach area.

This will be 23rd international trip organized by EFS since its founding in 1999. Our squad of 23 players is made up of players from West and North Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Pemberton, Bella Coola, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke and Williams Lake.
