| EFS has had many players play at university, amateur and professional levels across North America and Europe. Below we highlight a few EFS players that are currently playing in Europe. Esma Causevic was recently selected to play for the Bosnia & Herzegovina U19 Women’s team in a friendly match against Montenegro. Esma and her family are currently living in Bosnia & Herzegovina, where Esma joined a local club and, with her performances, was selected for the U19 Women’s selection team. Yigal Burk signed in June with German giants FC Schalke 04. Yigal has been playing with the U19 Schalke youth team this season. Emil Gazdov signed in June with Victoria’s Pacific FC of the Canadian Premier League. It is a big accomplishment to sign with a first-team as a goalie at the young age of 16. However, Emil took an even bigger step by signing with 1.FC Nürnberg U19 in Germany. Jacob Helminger is currently playing for FC 08 Homburg U23 team in Germany, where he has been for the last two seasons. |
