Our girls’ program recently completed an outstanding international tour across Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, providing players with valuable exposure to new playing styles, environments, and levels of competition. The trip was designed to support player development both on and off the field, and it delivered a meaningful and memorable experience for all involved.
The tour began in Germany, with matches hosted in Frankfurt and Cologne. The group competed against respected opposition including BSC Schwalbach II, 1. FC Kaiserslautern, and Fortuna Köln. The teams performed strongly, finishing the Germany portion of the trip with a record of 4 wins from 6 matches.
The second stage of the tour took place in Belgium, where the teams faced competitive fixtures against Antwerp Diamonds FC and Royal Cappellen FC. The group continued to build momentum, delivering consistent performances and securing wins across all three matches played in Belgium.
The final leg of the tour was held in Netherlands, where the teams played against SC Buitenveldert and FC Drunen. In a competitive set of fixtures, the group recorded 1 win, 1 draw, and 2 losses, rounding out the international experience.
Overall, the U14 team concluded the tour with a record of 4 wins and 2 losses, while the U16 team finished with 5 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. Beyond the results, the tour was a clear success from a development perspective, offering players the opportunity to challenge themselves, adapt to different styles of play, and grow as individuals and teammates.
We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to all host clubs for their hospitality and support throughout the tour, as well as to the coaches, tour managers, and parents whose commitment, organization, and encouragement made this experience possible.
This international tour represents an important step in the continued development of our players and program, and we look forward to building on this experience in the future.
